Galina Nikita

Galina Nikita is an impressionist painter from Moldova who lives and works in Whitchurch-Stouffville, Canada. Ever since she was a child, she loved to paint and express herself through the use of vibrant colours. Painting is her way of connecting with the world.

Galina is inspired by nature, bold colours, and the endless vastness of the universe. Her paintings are a reflection of her inner world and emotions. She uses vibrant hues and expressive brushstrokes to capture the beauty and energy of life. She wants to share her vision with others and invite them to free their souls through art.

She admires impressionist painters who revolutionized art by breaking away from traditional rules and conventions. They taught her how to see light, shadow, texture, and movement in new ways and paint with spontaneity, honesty, and joy.

Galina’s work is influenced by both her Moldovan heritage and Canadian experience. She draws inspiration from the landscapes, cultures, and people of both countries and explores themes such as identity, belonging, diversity, and harmony.

Her goal as an artist is to create paintings that evoke positive feelings in the viewers. “I hope that my paintings can inspire people to appreciate the beauty of nature, celebrate their uniqueness, and embrace their creativity.” – Galina
